| I'm gonna get this fired up early this year so we can get our "kids" picked early and get have more shopping time. (And thanks for the reminder nirab)
It's that time of year, time to get the Secret Santa rolling again. Here's how it works:
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SIGNING UP THANX
Let me know in this thread if you are interested in participating. You must have achieved Veteran status or higher to be part of this. The cutoff date to get your name in will be November 8th, no exceptions will be made to this. You will then be assigned, at random, another person from the list to play Santa for. You will send your recipient a total of six cigars. This will include 5 good quality sticks, which you think your recipient will enjoy. One of these five sticks should be designated as a New Years Eve smoke, typically people have done this with the highest end or most rare stick they send, though this is not required. The sixth cigar you send is the "Lump of Coal" cigar, and should be a smoke that would be worthy of giving to a cigar mooch or annoying relative.
The cigars MUST be sent in time to arrive before Christmas. Please take into account that mail is typically a little slower at that time of year. Also, please remember this is a SECRET Santa, you aren't supposed to let your recipient know you are their Santa. (Until the gift arrives, anyway.)
here is last years thread http://www.cigargeeks.com/community/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=5197...

PSA from Santa: Get those wishlists in shape kids!
Good point, Gary! I hit someone's wishlist this past year, and it turned out that their wishlist was 3 years old and they had already tried every cigar that I sent. UPDATE THOSE WISHLISTS!

| I'm one of those guys who doesn't have a wishlist and while I definitely see the value since it clearly helped me in my being Santa (the giver) for my "kid", i don't have the time.
As for me on the receiving end, I still don't know what I don't know. There are sooooo many good cigars and some that I like, you guys might think of as dogs. I really enjoy the aspect of trying new things and what I love about this site it that you get to see what others are smoking and rating.
So for this years Secret Santa, whether it's a reasonable Rocky, MF or Drew Estates, to a higher end Padron, Liga or Davidoff, I am honestly just excited to see what's in the mail. Looking forward to it is half the excitement and no matter what I get, I won't be dissapointed.. well unless it's a Gurkha |

s**t son, just go to a top 25 list and see what interests you and add that to the list. |

| Just in case some don't know, you can manually enter cigars in your wishlist if you don't want to pick out particular smokes. You could, say, put "Any Opus X" in the manual line if you haven't had one and want to try or maybe a few Cuban lines you may want to try. Just nice to give folks a jumping off point so that we can make your stocking as good as it can be.
Keeps you from having to pick a bunch of different types or vitolas of a cigar, you can be more general while still giving us an idea of your tastes or things you may not have tried.

| Santa made an early stop in Minneapolis today leaving behind a wonderful selection of cigars that are right in my wheelhouse.
Steve - Murphy223 hit me with a wonderful fiver compromising of:
CH Le Careme 2019 Belicoso Fino
Oliva Serie V Melanio
Ashton Heritage Puro Sol
Illusione CG:4
Leaf by Oscar Corojo
He also included a tasty looking lump of coal, Don Pablo Maduro. Steve says this one is a sleeper and I look forward to putting flame to it.
Thank you brother! Have a wonderful Christmas!

| Santa's package arrived today! I was anticipating a small package but I was NOT expecting to have to rebuild my mailbox. Wow did it get bombed!
Thank you so much Randy (@RDF) What an amazing surprise and selection of cigars, the majority of which I've never experienced. So looking forward to enjoying these.

Merry Christmas Ryan! I am so glad my selections are ones you haven't had before! Especially with the partagas maduro, they are pretty hard to find. Enjoy. |

| So my gift arrived Monday but I’ve been sick and also busy, so my apologies to Santa aka Bruce. It’s nice when santa knows what you like because he sent a bunch of awesome sticks! Seriously I don’t deserve all these goodies.
Thanks for letting me participate and thanks Bruce!
P.S. - my send should arrive Monday :)

| St. Nickthafish delivered a terrific selection of cigars, a lot of them off of my wish list, as well as some local chocolates. I will certainly enjoy burning each and every one of these, Nick. Thank You!
