I wanted to try starting a thread where people can post their pickups from their local B&M cigar store without needing to post a brand new thread just to brag....

So I treated myself to some new-ish blends:

--Aging Room M356
--Partagas 1845
--Buena Vista Edicion Limitada 2008
--Casa Fernandez Miami

...along with a 4-pack of one of the best cigars I tried in 2011:

--Winston Churchill Chartwell (I plan on taking a couple to Vegas in May)

So three of the five blends I bought were in CA's top 25, but what do they know?

Good combination of sticks.  I really like the new Paratagas 1845's, the Casa Fernandez is also a good ssmoke

Last Saturday, I picked up the George A. Rico Zulu Zulu (one in each wrapper)...

Today, grabbed the following:

--Epernay Box-Press
--Viaje Late Harvest
--Viaje Exclusivo (a new bundle release)
--EloGio Serie Habano Torpedo (Gabe, the owner, called this a Cabinet Series)
--EloGio Edicion Limitada Habano
--EloGio Edicion Limitada Oscuro

The last of the group was actually a freebie that Gabe from Cigar Pointe here in San Antonio gave me when I started asking the exact names of the smokes so I could enter reviews. He let me know if I was going to review the EloGio, I should try both wrappers.

Here is my CG entry for his cigar shop: http://www.cigargeeks.com/index.php?action=places;area=shopform;shop_id=436

Very nice pick up.

Yesterday I got
Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva No. 46
E.P. Carrillo Core Line Club 52 Maduro (I finally got one Bruce)  Ill let you know what I think of it.
But I really liked the name "Wish Stealer". It had a Native American ring to it. -Brlesq

Yeah, good idea, Corey. I don't get to the B&M all that often being as it's 60 miles away but when I do I usually get a few really special sticks. A thread like this will be perfect to show them off. Now all I have to do is schedule a trip to the big settlement.

I have 3 of them the M365, 1845, and Miami.  All good smokes. Like the 1845s. Picked up a bunch at a Generla Cigar launch event

B&M, what's that   Last time I was at a B&M was when Corey and I went to Heroes and Legacies in Austin in August 2010  :-(

Nice hauls Corey!  I really like that Chartwell that I discovered when we went B&M hopping in San Antonio.  I have picked up a few since then and have enjoyed them immensely.

Tonight is my last night in Orlando, so I picked up a few I can't find at my local:

Tatuaje Reserva 7Th
Litto Gomez Small Batch No 4
Flor de Antillies Robusto
Viaje Red Label No 1
Viaje skull and bones WMD

Have I whined enough yet about the miserable selection in my town?  :violin:

The one merchant that I have found with a walk in humidor is 75% empty at the moment awaiting a big order. The proprietor will do this when she knows she is going to a big show and placing orders.

Anyway, hopefully there will be some decent sticks come in.

Wifey said she googled cigar retailers here in town and came up with several, printing out a list and seeing what's what. There's a lounge here in town called Club Cigar, I'm wondering if they have a selection and a smoking area, will check it on the weekend.

Today I went to my local B&M to get 2 higher end cigars for the beach next week . Well I was not in there for a little .  I saw two that were high up on my last to buy and smoke .  I got a  La Gloria Cubana  Obelisco and a Gurka Cellar  Reserve Hedonism Grand Robusto.

I met my brother at a B&M the other day, because I owed him some $ for cigars he picked up for me.  Well, he landed up owing me $ by time we were done.  Got a box of L40's, some Short Story maduro's, 858's (maduro's or sun growns?), and a couple Work of Art maduro's.  We got the 6 Undercrown belicoso's for free!  It seems like every time we meet at this shop, we land up finding something rare. We've stumbled upon some FFP's and Opus X in the past.

CrazyK

Now that's a good looking pick up! Well done!
