Anyone try these yet I am waiting for a cbid show up on these and they dont have any up yet. I just dont want to pay catalog price for a fiver.

Damn. I have set back a Legends 20-count humidor with a collection of all of the Legend releases, including the discontinued Cusano.
Now I have to add this to the collection.

 

The Legends series has a special place in my heart. It had just started up after I got into cigars and I cut my teeth on quite a few of these. It was a good intro to the different blenders, even if most of them are just good to average sticks.

I've tried a few of the Legend series and haven't been overly impressed with any of them. Bruce says the one with the Brazilian wrapper is pretty good, whichever label colour that one is.

The best is the Yellow by Pepin. The Red by Perdomo and the Maroon by Plasencia are also decent. The rest are underwhelming.

I haven't tried the Olive one yet, but my favorite Legend is the Copper Label by Drew Estate.  It's sweet and smooth.  Very good smoke, IMO.  By the way, you can usually find the Legend Series smokes on cigarbid, for under $5/stick.

Yeah the Copper label isnt bad, just way too sweet. It is however my wifes favorite cigar

I really enjoyed the Legends Series when they were first released, especially the Yellow and Orange labels.  Haven't had one in years, though.
