Is it just me or is the cigar count on the Member Virtual Humidors page a bit off...? Doesn't seem to agree with the content of the virtual humidor.

I haven't looked at it in a while, but I know in the past mine has been off a little bit at times. Not a big deal to me, because the only number I worry about when it comes to cigar totals is the actual amount in my real humi's.

Right now my virtual humi is so far off what I actually have. I need to get that  updated, someday!

I think the logistics and planning is part of the fun:-) I have been told that I am a bit obsessive-compulsive when it comes to this, but I of course categorically deny it :p

Sounds like a good idea, I'll check again in a few days :-)

Mine says 39 on the "Member virtual humidor" page, but my humidor only contains 38. And I haven't done any modifications to it in two days. For some users it seems correct, for others it's way off. Haven't been able to see a pattern...

You're right!  I just noticed that mine is off by about 2,500 cigars!  Of course, I stopped trying to enter these years ago.

I have a helluva time keeping mine up to date already. I can't imagine what I will be like in another couple years.

My bad.  I didn't look at the "Virtual Humidor" page.  My count is also off by about 30 cigars??  No biggie because the number in "My Humidor" is correct.

True, that is the truly important number :-) I was just snooping around the "Virtual humidor" page to see what kind of numbers people are operating with. Took me a couple of seconds to get jealous and order a couple of boxes.

Mine is showing about double what is actually in my virtual humidor.  Somehow, I don't think the script that pulls this information is updating/refreshing the numbers very often.

Now that I look closer, it can't be just an updating/refreshing issue.  A member on the first page shows 25,088 cigars, but when you look into his humidor he only has 73 cigars. Something is definitely not right!

Yeah, it definitely doesn't look right.  Hopefully it is an easy fix for Paul.

So if I have the issue correct, the page that shows everyone's humidor and counts (http://cigargeeks.com/humidor/vhumidor.asp) is off but when you go into your actual online humidor it is correct?

Correct, e.g. user Amgroma has 25088 on the page that shows everyone's humidor, and 73 if you go into his humidor.

So there is a mismatch between the online humidor and the app? Which one is correct? My online humidor has been correct so far, but I haven't tested the app.

Not sure why your app might be off a few.

You are assuming that everyone keeps perfect records of what they have in their virtual humidor.  From my experience, there are a lot of folks that don't update very often, if at all.

Paul, thanks for the fix!

Well that's gonna suck for the guy that just "lost" over 25,000 cigars!

Amazing how many counts that were over a thousand dropped dramatically.  That  bug must have been there for a long time.  Good catch!

True, I am a bit of a neat freak when it comes to keeping perfect records. But my numbers are limited, I can see that it might be more stress then fun with a large collection.

If you are OCD about it, like me, it isn't too much work, even with a large collection.  But I like to know what I have, how old it is, etc.  Other Geeks don't worry so much.  To each their own.
