I recently inherited some pretty nice cigars that were not humidified for an extended time. What is the best way to re-humidify them?

Hi Gregory,
I usually put dry sticks like that in my wood humi...its not as airtight so a little less humid than my tupperdor. That way they re-humidify slowly instead of getting zapped all at once.

Slowly, gradually is the best method, IMHO.

Going slowly is the best way, and will avoid damaging the cigar. If they are already in cellophane, that will help the process be slow and gentle. If they are not in cellos, and you happen to have some from previous smokes you could put them in, it might be a good idea.

All three suggestions above are spot on in my opinion... good luck.

Thank you all for your input. I'll put them at the bottom of my humidor and forget about em'.
