Some of the newer folks might not know him, but we had a regular member here that hasn't posted much lately with the handle 'sam a'.  Right before he took a break from Geeks (although I don't think he was doing it on purpose), he was getting pretty heavy into the world of pipes.

Anyway, I came across his website.  For a guy that hasn't been building pipes for very long, it looks like he is making some fantastic looking stuff:

Those are very nice....I remember when he said he would get into the art of making these pipes....wow...he has some very nice pieces...I wish him well in this endeavor...
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken....

What good is it to wear your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????

I'm not a pipe smoker, but those are great looking pieces by any measure.  Some are very unique - kind of reflective of the pipe-maker. :biggrin:

He and I traded PMs today. After he mentioned having a website, I went a-Googling and found it. Since we hadn't had an update from him in a while, I figured I'd share his progress.

Glad to see he is doing well! And yes, he does have quite a selection of cigars..... As I recall, he smacked Ntxsage pretty hard on a PIF right before he stopped coming by..........

I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.

Any cigars portrayed in this post that appear to be Cuban in origin are completely fictional in nature. Any resemblance between these cigars and actual Cuban cigars is unintended and purely coincidental.

Very nice work Sam!  Looks like you are making great progress.  Those are some very sharp looking pipes.
