"A fine cigar is the essence of life. The tobacco plant comes from the earth, from which we ourselves were created. Like ourselves, each leaf grows and is nurtured individually, acquiring its own characteristics, and is then graded, sorted, and matured according to their special abilities. As tobacco comes to its graduation in the making of cigars, as with the making of adults, some is left on the cutting room table and become ordinary, run-of-the-mill products. Some graduate into leadership and areas of responsibility, but a few achieve greatness, and even a touch of immortality." -Prince Sined Yar Maharg

I saw these humidors on CL and was wondering if any Geeks would know if this is a good deal or not.

It looks a lot like "The El Grande" humidor on Cbid:http://www.cigarbid.com/Mobile/Auction/Lot/1790951/El-Grande-Humidor-300-Capacity/

I've never used it before personally but they look like nice humidors, and the shelves for storage of lighters, cutters, etc is always nice. If it's good quality and holds humidity that looks like a pretty good deal.

That 150 Count would be a nice display piece if you have a nice bar in the basement or something. I personally would not use it because being on this site it would fill up quickly. But as a display piece on a bar I think it would be nice.

http://www.cigarbid.com/Auction/Lot/1791076/The-Scottsdale-End-Table-Humidor-300-Capacity/

http://www.cigarbid.com/Auction/Lot/1799514/Indulgence-Table-Humidor-500-Capacity/

The cost is a bit more, but ya know what they say about humidors...once you drive it off the lot, it ain't f#&king big enough!!

I have the Indulgence, and I am very happy with it.  :bigthumbs:

I have the Indulgence as well and have nothing but good things to say about it.  The RH stays right where I want it using beads.  I have had close to 500 in it stuffing it and using the drawer which is cedar lined as well

The 300 capacity humidor looks like the Revello model I used in Connecticut. I gave it to a friend when I moved to Florida. I've also seen it marketed as El Diablo.

The bottom two drawers are the only true storage spaces. The others are faux. I paid $109 for it new. It worked fine and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Kent, my pick would be the LG Burl, that is gorgeous and the price seems pretty good

Unless you really like the look of either, I'd hold off and buy a bigger unit.

This would be my vote. I started with a small 40, then went to a 125, then went to a 300. I like the 300 I have and use it as my "daily smoking" inventory, but I've gotten rid of the rest. I will be getting rid of this one in a year so as well. Currently looking at some cabinet/furniture options right now that will hold 3000+. Need something to replace my two 600+ coolidors and the 300 desktop.

If you do pick one of those, I'd say the LG and plan to replace it or buy additional storage in the near future!

Beegerply

I have one similar to the LG but it has only a single drawer along the bottom. It works like a clock never any problems. But as everyone said go bigger if you can wait, but that is a good price.
