As we grow and add new folks, I believe we should do it again. I'd like to see everyone post on this thread, even if you've been on the site for years.  Newbies/Vets, Poster/Lurkers, etc. are all welcome!

It would be great if you would post a picture as well.

I am currently living in Antioch, Il,, my homes is in West Virginia, my wife job transferred from Pittsburgh to here, and I followed her,,,

What I currently do for a living is not much, disabled and severe pain is another constant companion of mine, from a fall many years ago, it's surprising how much one can be injured from a little fall,,, I am still enrolled in Graduate school working on    second masters degree, the first is Anthropology-applied archaeology, the second masters in teaching, electrician for over twenty years as well

Not much to share about family, been divorced two kids and they don't talk to me

Hobbies,, reading painting fishing hunting quilting and any other thing that catches my interest until I get bored with it,,,lol

I joined and participate in this site, as it's a great source of information, great folks, love the jokes, cut ups, occasional bombs given and received,  just a great site that has great people and the suggestions are not bad either.

User name, lol, my nickname and wasn't sure what the site would be like as I signed up,, would have shortened it to just Chip,

10.   Anything else ya want to tell us.  My dad quit smoking and drinking right before my 18th birthday, so I never got the opportunity to share in those experiences with him when I came of age.  He was dying of colon cancer last summer and told me that before he went that we would smoke a cigar and share a fifth of whiskey together.  Called me up one day to see if he could come over and hang out (he had never really done that before) and mentioned then would be a good time to have our smoke and whiskey.  I knew that meant he thought he would be gone soon.  I bought some Maker's Mark and opened up my little sampler box of My Father Special S Robustos for the occasion.  For his part, he brought over some Reese's PB Cups.  We got to have our first smoke and drink together when I was 28. He and I both decided, without communicating, that would be the last day we would see each other.  He passed a week later.  I kept the bottle of Maker's, the box from the My Fathers as well as the bands, and the unopened package of Reese's and they all sit on a plate rail in my kitchen.  The other smoke from that sampler box might not ever be smoked, but maybe it will.

 I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, smoking cigars, trying new foods, having good adult beverages, working on and riding my Harley, I stopped playing the drums after we had the baby because they are a tad to loud, and I need to get back out and start shooting my bow again.

 Started using the app for the VH and reviews, but I have grown to really enjoy the comradery in the forums.  There truly are a lot of great people on this site.

 1.Star Wars had been a favorite of mine since I was little and watched them with my father. Out of all the characters I like Darth Vader the most. 2. He's smoking a cigar. 3. I want a lightsaber cigar torch. Someone really needs to make one of these. Seriously this has to happen soon, so if you guys could figure it out like you do just about anything else (very enginuitive people here) that would be much appreciated by everyone.

 2. How long you've been smoking cigars. I was introduced to cigars thru a friend. I Would go over to his place and he has always had quite a selection. He would always pick out something for us to smoke. The more I went over, the more starting liking them and today I'm out of control. So been smoking steady for 3 years
 3. Where you live and why. I live in Ringgold Georgia but grow up just about 20 miles away in Chattanooga Tennessee. We moved to Georgia because of my son when he started school. The school system was better and at the time Georgia had the HOPE scholarship and Tennessee didn't.
 4. What you do for a living. I work two jobs. 1st and my main source of income is in the HVAC business working for a wholesale supplier. My 2nd job and true love is as a firefighter for Catoosa County Georgia. It just doesn't pay enough so it is my second job. However, with the amount of hours I work there, it amounts to a full time job as well.
 5. Whatever you'd like to share about your family. My wife and I have been married for a little over 19 years and we have one son(stepson to me), but he's like my own.
 6. What your hobby's are. I really don't have a lot of time for hobbies but I like going to Braves games and I metal detect with a friend of mine.

2.   How long you've been smoking cigars - a friend got me started on cigars about 6 years ago
3.   Where you live and why - Crystal River, FL. I got tired of the big city life in St Petersburg and we moved to what was our 2nd home, now our only home. Why Crystal River, I get asked that a lot. It is a small town, 10 minutes from the boat landing, and a more easy going life. Rush hour lasts 5 minutes.
4.   What you do for a living?  US Army, retired. Once my knee heals, will go back to work doing?  I don't know what I want to do when I grow up
5.   Whatever you'd like to share about your family - Married, I have a daughter who lives in the big city
6.   What your hobby's are - Family, Cigars, football, boating, I need to get back into fishing it's been awhile,going to the pistol range, high on life
7.   Why you frequent this forum - I found the site when I first got into cigars.  Some of the smart a$$es I met on the site ended up being pretty cool internet friends. Passes, reviews, and the social threads. It all ended up being fun!  IMO the best cigar site on the internet, I check it out daily

2.   How long you’ve been smoking cigars. : Started smoking cigars in late '70s or early '80s, so 30+ years I guess.

 
3.   Where you live and why. : Alabama (just south of Birmingham), born & raised here, it's home.

 
4.   What you do for a living. : Self-Employed Certified Public Accountant for 38 years, retired about 6 years ago.

6.   What your hobby’s are. : Fishing (fly rod mostly), bird hunter & water fowler, shotguns, rifles & handguns, reloading my own ammo, traveling to hunt & fish, reading (history mainly), good bourbon and listening to outlaw Country music.

2.   How long you've been smoking cigars. Off and on since the mid 90s.  Only seriously got into this in the last few months.
3.   Where you live and why.  I live in historic Salem, MA.  I moved to Boston from DC in 2004, visited Salem one day a few years later, thought, "this would be a cool place to live" and that was that.
4.   What you do for a living.  I'm director of client services for a marketing agency north of Boston
5.   Whatever you'd like to share about your family.  I've been married to my husband for 6 years, we have two cats and a condo.  It's a very content and boring life I lead.
6.   What your hobby's are.  I adore food and cooking, travel, the finer things in life, reading, art, music, cars football, and debating current events.  I speak 5 languages and used to teach ancient Greek in college.
7.   Why you frequent this forum.  I was obsessively searching for information on Adorini humidors one day and found some pictures that led me to this forum.  I thought this seemed like a pretty cool place to hang out.  I was right!
8.   Why you picked the user name you have.  I figured NO ONE would have a name as ridiculous as this.  Plus, let's face it, most cigar chompers are manly men who are into sports and cars and women and power tools.  I'm not really into most of that, so a little diversity might do us all some good.  No, I'm not a Brony...I think they're really, really, REALLY weird.
