This look decent for a noob?

I like the looks of it and the price. I would just make sure if I bought it that it seals well has calibrated gauges and that kind of stuff.

Definitely check the seal before making the purchase.

Ok picked it up, actually looks pretty good and the door seems snug. The guy never actually used it, the little humidity sticks are still in their wrappers.
Now to find someone to pawn these 9 packs of Swisher Sweets Tip Cigarillos off onto that he had in it.

Those are for your buddies who think they know a good stick.  Have you started to test the gauge with the salt test yet?  I would do that and sit it up so it has time to settle before I put my sticks in it.

That's the humidor I have.  I like it.

Not sure what the salt test is yet and wow I'd like to start off with something like that but with what the ex gets in alimony that's way out of my league :(

I think 70 percent is a good base and starting point that most stick with but I have seen people like levels between 65-75percent.

It seems like a nice one just outta the price range for me for now.  It comes with close to 600 cigars so that is a big chunk of the price tag I am sure. He lists some of the cigars as Gurkha Spec Ops, Man O' War, Alec Bradley, Fuente, 5 Vegas, 601, AVO,  CAO, Cain, Camacho, Cuesta-Rey, Don Pepin, Gurkha, Hoyo de monterrey,  Montecristo  I think it would be a great geek deal is its as good as described another geek was close enough to it here in N.E Florida to snag it and I bet they could probably talk him down some.

Personal opinions vary, but I think if you polled Geeks, most would say closer to 65% is optimal.

That CL listing has been up for a while, I think.

Yeah I think that list is about 2 months old last updated 21 days ago. It was the 1st time I seen it.
