Heavy rains in Nicaragua 22 dead, homes destroyed

NICARAGUA NEWS – Twenty-two people are dead and 32,000 are homeless after torrential rain caused flooding near Nicaragua’s capital Managua. 4,544 homes were damaged or destroyed by floods or were evacuated due to flood risk.

 5,630 people are in shelters and receiving food.  Many photos at:
