I picked up one of these tonight and I'm so happy with it I thought I'd share. At only $19 it is well worth the money, especially for a coffee snob like me. It's a french press/travel mug all in one. The only real downside I see is if you are actually traveling with it, it won't be as easy to rinse out as a normal coffee mug that just has coffee since you're toting around all the grounds with this too. That aside, I'm quite happy with it. Additionally, for anyone who hasn't owned a Stanley product before, they guarantee all their products for life no questions asked. Also, on a side note, when I was pulling up the link to share I had a pretty good laugh at the last photo that Wal-Mart somehow thinks is related to this mug. Some middle aged guy with a girl who is MAYBE 18 at a remote lake. "Buy this Stanley and you'll be raping like a pro in no time." :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have this one from REI.  http://www.rei.com/product/792857/rei-double-shot-press-mug With the discount I had that day, I think I only paid about $16 for it.  It goes camping with me everytime.  I'm going to look for that Stanley.  Might be the ticket for hunting season.

do you guys have issues with the grounds coming out while you drink?

The REI cup has a screen in the lip the prevents most of the grounds.

I have a few Bodum French Press and I like it although I like the stove top espresso makers better.

For travelling and portability, Bodum makes the "Single Serve Bistro Mug French Press". You can find it for around $20 like here : http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-Bistro-Press-Personal-Coffee/dp/B000VBBT2Q

Basically no. The Stanley has a silicone gasket that goes around the filter and it fits snugly against the walls of the mug when you press the grounds. At the very top of the mug, it widens a little where the lid goes on, if you get over zealous and add too much water then sometimes you have some that get around the gasket. You just need to leave 1/4 - 1/2 inch of space below that widening and it works great!
