Birth of a humidor - How to make one

Several people have made comments about wanting to build a humidor. Way back in 2012 I posted a fairly detailed account of what goes into building one of my humidors. There are several ways to go about it but this is how I do it. I've taken the liberty of reposting those old threads so you can get an idea of how it works. Hope this might help a little.

Yup! That is my little set up right there up in the shop on top of the hill behind the house.

Great series of posts, one of the first I read when I found this site  really enjoyed reading them, so much so that I was a little sad when I got to the end. Excellent work!

Ken is definitely a talented wood worker/humidor builder.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.

I'm pretty jealous, like I said, I do some wood working, but my set up is very limited in comparison. When my wife and I talk about our dream home, I always talk about having a shop... one of these days.

Very nice, Ken!  How about a pix of it a few years later with a few cigars stashed inside?  :-)

Ken you do a heck of a job! I wish I was more of a flat work guy, but I am more of a turner.
