Well, my wife surprised me with my first pipe this Christmas.  She got me an estate pipe, a La Silvana R2.  Also, in the same week, a good friend of mine surprised me with a second pipe, and estate pipe also.  It was a Savenelli.  I am enjoying them both at the beach this week.  I love cigars, but this is a nice addition.

Any techniques for packing the tobacco in the bowl, and proper lighting of it?  Still learning, but enjoying.

That is a great present.  Even though I gave up on my pipe a couple of years ago, I sometimes miss it.  There are so many great pipe blends out there.
