Proud father enjoying a special cigar today

My oldest son graduated from USCG boot camp today and he is assigned to Air Station San Francisco, where he wants to become an 'aircraft maintenance technician'. "HOORAY". Not bad for a man who spent his first 19 years in Costa Rica.  His brother and 2 friends from Philadelphia attended the ceremony in Cape May, NJ, while I watched the ceremony online in Costa Rica while smoking a fine cigar.

While in training, the recruits designed a logo for their company, India 194.  Hooray!  33 of the recruits who started basic on April 4th did not make it to graduation today but most will have another chance with another company.
