Hey guys... remember me! I know it's been forever since I've been on and even longer since I've posted on the forums. Some of you guys I'm sure recall that myself, Shukpaw, MT21 (Herb) and at one time mcdiamond; get together annually for our Cigar Geeks Herf. What started out as 4 strangers with the common bond of being cigar smokers and members of this forum decided to take a chance for a weekend herf at Shukpaw's cabin. From there a real friendship was created, and a pact was made to hold a Herf annually. Well, we've done just that, and as this weekend approaches this will be our 7th Cigar Geeks Herf. Though we've lost touch with mcdiamond over the last few years, Shukpaw, MT21 and I still look forward to our annual Herf, and always have a great time. Though we don't comment on the forums much any more if at all, we still communicate with one another and check in from time to time. Though we haven't been active participants in recent times, this site/forum will be talked about much this weekend as I know I have great memories (as do the others) of conversations with different members from over the years. So many informative and fun threads and great individuals made this forum an awesome place to spend many hours of my day. Unfortunately life gets in the way, so I haven't been able to participate like I once did, but I still appreciate this site and all the great people I've communicated with over the years.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that story for the guys that remember us, and to all the new guys I'm not familiar with; if you get a chance to meet up with a Cigar Geek take the chance. You never know where it may lead. It could just be an interesting afternoon/evening with a fellow Geek or it could become something more, and become a real friendship.

Nice! Can't wait for tomorrow. It's gonna be an excellent weekend.
My personal best is 12 cigars (including a 7x70) for the weekend. Let's see how many I can smoke this year.

He was having internet issues for a while, and I know he's been busy with home life. He misses this place and all you guys and gals. He says hi.
