Cigar spontaneously caught fire while drawing

It was a perfectly normal day, and I was having a stick and beer in the shop while building a custom table.  I go for a draw, and the stick flares up into flames.  My glasses had some smoke marks on them, luckily they kept the flames away from my eye.  It would have been much worse if I didn't have them on.  This may seem stupid, but I smoked the rest of it, and no further issues.

Could it have been fine particulates of sawdust that caused this?

Hey! How come Habana is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

A day without whiskey is like . . . just kidding, I have no idea!

An interesting guess, but I don't think so.  This was early, and I had not started cutting yet.  I was just arranging, and getting tools ready for the next part of the work.  I also run a huge dust collector that gets pretty much everything.  I have a particle counter that will warn me if it's getting dusty, for health protection.

Also I'll add that I've smoked hundreds of cigars in the shop, without this ever happening.  Even before I had the great dust collector.

I just realized I had a gas can conveniently nearby...

Wow that was something I've never seen anything like that. Maybe it was it was some type of gas from fermentation in the leaf.   :-0
