I've been thinking about buying a humidor after smoking a few cigars so I don't have to keep going to the store haha Im lazy.I don't really know much about them or want to waste my money on a s**tty one.
I am worried that I will get one that is not the right size then I will end up having to buy another one because I don't really know what to look for and I am new to this.
Saw some options compared on this site and I am leaning towards the Case Elegance one.
The most economical option is a coolidor/igloodor/tuperdor. Get any airtight container, throw some Boveda humidity packs in it, and you have yourself a nice bit of storage. Then as you get an idea of how many you buy and smoke, you can find something for longer term like what you mentioned.
When I was starting out, I wish I had gone this route. You save your money for cigars. IMHO, buying a really good cutter, a draw tool, and a nice lighter are better investments as you get into this hobby.
I have 7 tupperdors, 6 in my office (don't ask) and one at the house. I also have a coolidor at home that I usually smoke from and all of them have 65 bovedas. They are the best humidification I've ever had, beads, oasis, gel, none are better! Work great, cheap and easy to recharge, what more could any of us want?!
