I do not recall the Eiroa's ever selling non banded Camacho's in bundles. And I have no experience with privada cigar club. Can anyone vouch for them?

I know Todd is a member. I believe they go to factories and purchase a lot of old stock similar to the Lost & Found

This is not the admin you're looking for...

Yep, I am.  Have been for about a year now and am enjoying it so far although I haven't smoked many of the sticks I've gotten from them as of yet.  Brian, the owner, works with Robert Caldwell, among others, and acquires a lot of his sticks that way and I'd guess these may have been found with Caldwell's help.  I may have to pull the trigger on a few of these just to see what the hoopla is about with the old Camacho blends.

Hey! How come Habana is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

A day without whiskey is like . . . just kidding, I have no idea!

Alright, I'll bite.  Which blends are we looking for?   :smoker2:

Diplomas, Diploma Maduros, 10th Anniversary, Corojo, Triple Maduros, obviously Libertys, and anything in an 11/18 size (unique to the old Camachos).

However, the SLRs and the Negros were decent smokes, and he has those.  But not worth $11 per cigar!

I agree with Bruce, the 11/18 figurado is iconic to the old school Camacho's. The old band SLR's were very good, the Super Limitado's were very good, the 2005 and 2009 Liberty's were excellent. The Corojo Monarcha's were a damn good $3.00 cigar. Hell, I liked damn near all of the old school Camacho's.

Yeah, the price is steep and is what's kept me from ordering a few.  Probably better sticks out there I can spend $11 on.

So, some of the ones you listed, the Corojo and the Triple Maduro, for two, are current Camacho blends.  Did they change the blend at all when Davidoff took over or did the flavor and quality change at all?  I've had both of those from recent production and am not particularly a fan of the Triple Maduro, but the Corojo is pretty good.  Were they better back then?

Thanks for the comments...   :smoker2:

Would love to get my hands on more 10th Anniversary. I've gone through almost all of the 100 I bought on close-out @ $3.25/stick..... :-(

The old school Diploma Maduros were amazing.  The new ones, not so much.

Camacho, under the Eiroa's, had damn good tobacco.
