My Peterson Standard System 312, given to me by my father.  We usually smoke something with Black Cavendish in it .. we are hooked on the aromatics.

Thanks guys.  I don't think I would ever have sprung for a pipe like this myself.  For as much as I smoke a pipe, I probably would have gone for an expensive cob pipe (the $6 one instead of the $5 one) and stem filters.  I have to say though, smoking the Peterson is a great experience.

Your 312...My AR-15.  I smoke just about anything I want to with this pipe  :biggrin:

Oh wow.  That is beautiful ... really really nice. That was not built from gun-show parts!  Your pipe definitely smokes mine.  I would be ecstatic to get something like that in a cigar pass though!!!  :biggrin:

You're right...definitely no gun-show or mail order parts in this machine!  PacWest Arms lower, DPMS uppper with 24" 1 in 9 air-gauged and ported barrel.  Match trigger group and a few other goodies.  Topped off with a 6.5 x 20 Simmons.  It will hold 1/4 MOA with just about anything I stuff in the magazine.

Awesome. You put the money where it matters. That has to be an absolute joy to shoot.  Kinda hard to tell in the pic, but it looks like the bolt is modified too.  Did you do the work yourself?

I didn't do any of the work myself. The bolt is standard DPMS to the best of my knowledge.  Seems to do the job though.
