Hi to all the coffee lovers try the :Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, it really one of the best.

You can buy from :http://www.bluemountaincoffee.com/OrderCoffee.cfm

If you like a very strong & crude coffe try the Arab coffee :http://www.freshcoffeeshop.com/en/coffee-products-1/arabic-coffee-3/?zenid=ed302873079fe10648b6b802d055749e.

I use to drink the Arab coffee usually with Cardamom (I know it as Hell) a wonderfull spice, the Blue Montain is rare and costs a lot.

Any way if you are in Israel I'll be more then happy to invite you to a good glass of coffee ( There is a Ceremony while preparing it).

The first time I saw Jamaican Blue Mountain was in a little shop in St. Croix.  This was back in 1997 and it was $40 a pound then.  Can't imagine what it might be now!

So is your coffee ceremony anything remotely similar to the Japanese Green Tea Ceremony?  I've been to a few of those while I lived in Tokyo.

5 Lbs. for a $155 or if you prefer a bit less, how about 1 lb. for $39? Hey Ken, maybe it's inflation proof!

I once was acquainted with a guy who was a distributor for Blue Mountain coffees. I tried to weasel a sample out of him, but he was too tight ... oh well. Having a cup of it is still on my "want to do some day" list.

Hi Ken

Sorry not at all, the Japaneese ceremony is much more delicated & complicated.

Here you the coffee boil , at first time you add the sugar & lower the fire, then you let it boil 6 times more (it should be 7 times of boiling) , you must not tuch the foam and then to pour the cofee from above.

It's good

Be careful - that is a Jamaican Blue Mountain "Blend", so it is not the same thing as 100% JBM.

And yes, JBM is the best cup I've ever had and runs about $40/lb.

WAY too rich for my taste!  I'm perfectly happy with Folger's Gourmet blend on sale down to Wally World.  However, when I was in Japan we could get Lion's Blend from Hawaii in the commissary and that was pretty good.

OK, Simcha, that sounds faintly similar to Turkish coffee, one of my favorite drinks when I was in Izmir.

I'd be interested in knowing more about that.  I looked at the site and on page 2, it says it is 100% JBM, doesn't say anything about so much percent JBM and rest is a mix, etc.  Anyone know the real scoop on it?  As they say, Is it is, or is it ain't?
