Corolla Wine, Cigar & Gourmet (Corolla, NC, United States) Submitted by mhuss 4/7/2008 11:50:55 PM This is a store that I visit each and every time I'm visiting the Outer Banks. But by looking at their website and the video contained on the homepage, this place has definitely changed since I was last there in the summer of 2005. When I was there, it was merely a cigar and tobacco shop. Now, evidentially it has turned into quite a gourmet shop, with offerings of fine wine and handcrafted and imported beer, in addition to the existing walk-in humidor with a great selection of cigars. It seems like it is now definitely a one-stop stop for all things enjoyable and relaxing. It was a great shop when I visited it last, but now it seems to be an even better one now. Just like always, I'll be visiting TimBuck II for my smokes while on the Banks.
Whiskey (Durham, NC, United States) Submitted by CrazyK 10/26/2011 7:48:42 PM I went to Whiskey on the recommendation of a friend and I instantly fell in love with the place. It is dark, there are leather chairs and couches everywhere, a tin ceiling and various taxidermied animal heads on the walls. And the best part is the bar. OMG, the bar. I challenge anyone to find a better selection of whiskies, be they Bourbons, Scotches, or whatever. They have it all it seems. It took me well over 10 minutes to select from the list. It was awesome! And the bar staff there really know their stuff. Their selection of cigars is not the best, but no cutting fee if you bring your own. If you are in the Triangle area, it is well worth a visit.
Tinder Box - Durham (Durham, NC, United States) Submitted by CrazyK 10/26/2011 8:05:00 PM This is a pretty typical Tinder Box mall location. They had a great selection for most any price range the last time I went (2 years ago). I bought a lot of stock from them over the years, and they always treated me well. They have a nice walk-in humidor packed to the brim. Nice place to grab a cigar before going to Whiskey bar in downtown Durham(see my review).
Sam's Quik Shop (Durham, NC, United States) Submitted by CrazyK 10/26/2011 7:58:19 PM I was in Durham looking for a cigar and my friend took me to this heavenly place. Walk in the door, and the rep from one of the local breweries "made" me try a couple samples of his beer. Not bad. They have a decent selection of cigars with about 12 feet of wall humidors, but the beer selection was out of this world. It was nuts. I mean really nuts. I went in for a couple cigars and left with 150$ of beer and 2 cigars. It doesn't look like much more than a gas station from the outside, but that is just to keep the snobs away...

BlackBeard Cigars (Greenville , NC, United States) Submitted by gcbright 10/9/2014 2:14:10 PM Good store with a friendly owner and staff. Opus-X dealer. Not the largest humidor or lounge but cozy. My only regret is that they do not stock LFD. However they make up for it in other areas.

Black Beard Cigars (Greenville, NC, United States) Submitted by qman22 5/19/2008 6:53:00 PM This is a rather small establishment, but nice. They have a walkin humidor and specialize in Ashton, Oliva, Fuente, and Cuesta Rey. Lots of VSG and ESG if you are looking. They have a couple of couches and a TV if you would like to enjoy your smoke there. I didn't notice if they sold beverages or not.
Tobacco Merchant (Hendersonville, NC, United States) Submitted by Olddog 6/28/2017 6:56:20 AM Older and a fairly small shop. Owner is very knowledgeable and great to talk with. Not a huge selection to choose from but seems to always have brands that everyone should like. Large overstuffed chairs are in back if one wants to stay and socialize with others.

Outman Knife & Cigar (Huntersville, NC, United States) Submitted by Turboknat 4/25/2008 7:42:06 PM They have a nice assortment of cigars, with many Gurkhas and Rocky Patels, Punch, and several other brands. The bad part is that there is no indoor seating, and one small table outside the front door with only two metal chairs. A nice store to buy product in, but take it with you.
Burner's Cigar Co. (Huntersville, NC, United States) Submitted by ColBlooded 7/4/2012 6:12:58 AM Great local place with a nice selection of cigars. Owner/operator Josh Johnson is a local firefighter who happened to be into cigars and opened this shop in June of 2011. Since then, they have become the area's Rocky Patel Lounge, offering a vast array of Rocky Patel brands, as well as a host of others. Great place, especially for a n00b; their recommendations have, so far, been stellar! Burner's is a BYOB, but they do offer some refreshments for guests.
