Straus Tobacconist (Florence, KY, United States) Submitted by Brlesq 1/19/2013 9:19:18 AM This is their second location and much more modernized than the original in Downtown Cincinnati. Bigger selection, nice smoking lounge. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Schwab's Pipes n Stuff (Lexington, KY, United States) Submitted by jmagg 11/30/2008 5:43:13 PM Nice smallish shop, with nice, knowledgeable and helpful employees. Has a large walk-in humidor with a very good selection. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will get it, even if it's just something you want to try. They also have a small ventilated smoking area.
Martin's Cigar Shop (Lexington, KY, United States) Submitted by Ken Kelley 12/2/2008 8:43:27 PM Martin's shop is tucked away in a corner of Zandale Shopping Center in Lexington, KY. He maintains a nice selection of name brand cigars and his prices are pretty decent. There is a selection of chairs and couches to park yourself on while you enjoy a smoke and if you feel like it you can sit in his dental chair. Since Lexington recently passed no smoking laws this is one of the only two places I know of where you can actually light up in a commercial establishment.
Hamburg Pavilion Liquor Barn (Lexington, KY, United States) Submitted by Ken Kelley 12/5/2012 4:03:55 PM Liquor Barn has several stores in the Lexington area. Most offer a good selection of cigars at decent prices. The Hamburg store has a large walk in humidor with a very nice selection of high end smokes. The only criticism I have of that location is the humidor seems to run at too high a humidity for the cigars to be enjoyable without a bit of humidor time to dry them out a bit.
Fayette Cigar Store Inc (Lexington, KY, United States) Submitted by Ken Kelley 12/5/2012 4:19:36 PM It's a cigar store in downtown Lexington. Not near as friendly or convenient as Schwab's out by Nicholasville Road but a place to go if you need a cigar and can't find one. I don't go often but it's there if I need it.
Oxmoor Smoke Shop (Louisville, KY, United States) Submitted by Ken Kelley 12/5/2012 4:12:44 PM Wide variety of cigars and pipe tobacco. Not as neat as Schwab's but it will do.
J. Shepherd (Louisville , KY, United States) Submitted by brentclly 12/30/2011 9:39:04 AM I have been in several shops locally and J. Shepherd is the best! Staff is very helpful and knowledeable. Prices are really good. They have a huge selection, and on the off chance they don't have it they will get it. They also host several events and tastings, usually partnering with local resteraunts and bars.
Beer Sellar (Newport, KY, United States) Submitted by tmmedic20 10/25/2012 9:00:42 PM Great bar with a wide variety of beer on tab. Some decent food, nothing great but better than average bar food. Very welcoming to cigar smokers. Does not sell cigars, but Party Source has a large humidor 10 mins down the road.
Jake's Cigar Bar and Lounge (Nicholasville, KY, United States) Submitted by cdeanz51 6/17/2010 9:56:56 AM Just 2 miles from the Fayette Mall in Brannon Crossing (next to Asuka Japanese Steak House). They have a huge walk-in humidor, full service bar, leather lounge chairs and a bunch of flat screen TV's.
