Made by the Villazon Factory under the watchful eye of master cigar maker Estelo Padron, this is a collection of the finest hearty tobaccos in the world today, and proves to be his strongest blend to date. This full-bodied cigar is intoxicating with its decadent flavors, heady aroma, and intense finish. Packed in heavy Spanish Cedar cabinets, it is a cigar crafted for the most experienced of connoisseurs.

This cigar was enjoyed with Coffee

Pre-Light: 8 Points of 10 Possible

Looks nice enough, slight oily sheen to the wrapper with a few minor vein lines. Cannon feels solid and the filler seems well packed from the appearance at the foot. The cap is a bit off, sitting across the top crooked and wrinkled. The cap is really the only fault I can find in the appearance. It cut good even with the crooked cap and the draw is good with a sweet tobacco hint to it. The wrapper has a sweet molasses note and the foot has a earthy tobacco aroma. Anticipating good things at this point.

Light & Burn: 14 Points of 15 Possible

Takes a fire well enough and the burn is slow and cool and just a bit wavy. The ash was solid and a light grey in color and held well past an inch. Smoke production was hi and even with me putting it down for several minutes at a couple different intervals it stayed lit and with a couple quick puffs it was fully revived and producing gobbs of flavorful smoke again.

Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible

Draw on this cigar was good providing large volumes of smoke with each puff. The wrapper was a great example of a well cured Sumatra leaf. The cigar was well packed which resulted in a nice slow even burn and an enjoyable smoking experience. My only fault with the construction was with the cap application. It was placed crooked on all the cigars in the batch I received and a couple came off completely while smoking. It's a minor complaint and the only fault I really found.

Flavor: 40 Points of 45 Possible

Nice start with wood, cream and honey hints, some almond and a malt with just a hint of sweet at the finish. There is a nice touch of spice in the retro and hints of chocolate in the room aromatics.
The second third is marked by an up tic in the sweetness and the wood fading into the background and a coffee and molasses combination take the lead. The spice has picked up some and I am getting a cola hint in the retro.
The last third still has a nice cream with mocha and a nice sweet finish. Spice has come up to a peak and the almond is back along with the wood.

Summary

This was a really enjoyable smoke for me. It was a great smoke producer and the flavor profile was one that I really enjoyed. Burn was good and smoke time was around an hour and 45 minutes. Strength was a solid medium for me till the very end where it creeped into the full range but barely. Will be looking to pick up a few more of these.
