This cigar was enjoyed with Water

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

Prelight smells is a nice barnyard scent. There is another smell that stands out to me but I could not put my finger on it. If I had to guess I would say some sort of deep tobacco smell. The prelight draw is just fine, no complaints from me. I am going to be using a straight cut on this stick(normally I use a V)

Light & Burn: 14 Points of 15 Possible

Easy to light no issues there, also no problem with the burn. I did have to relight one of the sides once, but it may have been just the lack of attention as I was writing down some of the review while smoking.

Construction: 24 Points of 30 Possible

The draw was a little loose for me, maybe it was the face that I did a straight cut and not a V. But none the less, I had to make sure not to draw too long for my specific taste. Some people might like loose draws but this was a little too loose for me. Otherwise the wrapper had no issues.

Flavor: 30 Points of 45 Possible

I really enjoyed the flavors of the stick. The first third seemed to have a small sweetness to it along with a spice/pepper kick to it. Nothing over powering but enough to make me aware but I would say Medium - Full. During the second third I senses some earth tones come in and towards the end of the 2nd third I deifnitely had some leather as well. By the end of the smoke I would rate this a full body stick even though it did not start that way. For me there was no taste transition from the 2nd and 3rd.

Summary

Overall I enjoyed the stick. As I normally tend to stay away from full body smokes I had to take the last 3rd slow becuase I could feel the strength ramping up. But good construction, great flavors, enjoyable smoke.
